JERRY CARLSON, Executive Vice President, SMI
Mr. Carlson has spent more than two decades as president of a Tier I automotive stamping company and is currently executive vice president of Skilled Manufacturing. He also is president of a local restaurant brewing company in Traverse City. Mr. Carlson is past director of the Father Fred Foundation and treasurer for the Munson Health Care Board of Trustees. In addition to his 35 years of manufacturing experience, he was the director of Old Kent Bank in Traverse City for 10 years. He continues as a consultant to various business organizations in the Traverse City area.
Mr. Carlson attended the University of Michigan where he earned both his B.S. in Engineering and his M.B.A.
